Learn 3D Printing on-line. L3DP’s courses will teach you the concepts, applications and techniques required to succeed by modeling and printing complete parts. You can use your 3D FDM printer or access ours using iLab.
Students build knowledge using competency-based, hands-on training within the entire 3D printing workflow. This includes materials selection, solid modeling, testing, repairing, slicing and printing typical engineering models. They will also learn best practices, creating supports and applying secondary processes for FDM technology.
Our curriculum follows two learning tracks, each focused on an individual’s background and requirements.
Digital Literacy is the ability to think, create and communicate using digital design tools like 3D CAD, scanning and printing. More than just putting a printer in a classroom, it’s about building an ecosystem of 3D printers, scanners, software, curriculum, and support. This track provides education kits for classroom and lab assignments.
Companies are using 3D printing to evaluate more concepts in less time. As the design moves forward, decisions are iteratively tested to guide decisions, improve performance, lower costs, and deliver higher quality products. This track teaches the Additive Machining and Best Practices skills required to create finished parts from CAD models.
L3DP builds and supports turnkey online training content for the 3D printing ecosystem and workflow – from materials selection, solid modeling, testing, repairing, slicing and printing typical engineering models. We also document best practices, creating supports and applying secondary processes for multiple AM technologies.
Our curriculum provides private label 3DP training solutions to brands and product management teams, especially for emerging technologies.
